In the third quarter of 2025, Brazil's real estate and construction sector had mixed performance with significant differences across segments. The residential real estate segment had a relatively weak quarter, with sales of new units declining by 3.4% y/y, partly explained by the My House My Life Programme (MCMV) which registered a 1.59% y/y decline in the quarter. In that regard, MCMV accounted for 44% of all units sold during the period.
